What we collect and store when you visit us
We collect some information about you during your website visit. While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Pages you’ve viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type
When you make donations, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your donation
- Respond to your requests
- Process donations and prevent fraud
- Comply with any legal obligations we have
- Send you regular email updates, if you choose to receive them
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.
We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
Like many other Web sites, www.PractoMindFoundation.org makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
Cookies and Web Beacons
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Use of Visitors/Donor Data
We may use the visitors and donor data for our internal policy making, branding and marketing. We may also share information with third parties who help us provide and process your donations or fees, for example payment gateway providers or govt agencies or our registered suppliers and vendors.
Apart from the the above use we don’t sell any data to any third party in any way. Only the users with admin rights have access to visitors data and our internal policy set out processes on use of the same.
All the third party logos, images, trademarks and other graphics used are the sole property of their respective owners.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
We accept payments/Donations through RazorPay, PayTM or other payment gateway providers. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to RazorPay or other payment gateway providers, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the donation or payment amount and your email, mobile number and other information we collect.
